Role: Development Engineer
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Focus: Retrofitting ticketing systems for public transport, Provisioning, Hardware Integration, "Make it work"

Working on modernizing and retrofitting ticketing systems for public transportation. I do a lot of provisioning of the 2000+ machines, hardware integration of exotic components with exotic protocols and increasing the walk to talk ratio in our software team. I would say the last one is my most underrated skill.

Here I learned maintaining legacy software. Like maintaining Delphi to Java translated code or self implemented reporting engines. Focus on Data Import/Export

Program: 4-year Apprenticeship as Computer Scientist EFZ
Technologies: Java, Frontend/Backend Development Focus: Foundation of my professional journey. Learned programming fundamentals, worked on accounting software, fixed & maintained legacy code, and developed new features.
